We run and support events all year round to make Lancaster a really exciting place to live and study. Check out our EVENTS CALENDAR for the latest on what's going on around campus.

During Welcome Week we help you find your way around the uni and the town, offer loads of trips and social events and help make your first week as a student really memorable.

In December we transform campus into a winter wonderland at our Christmas Market, with student performances, gift stalls, food and even a chance to meet Santa.

Once every two years we host Roses, our annual sporting tournament against the University of York - a sporting and cultural extravanaganza that unites everyone on campus. 

At the end of the summer term we support the colleges to run Extravs, the famous end of term parties that mark the end of the year.

We also support students to put on their own events throughout the year - from hosting guest speakers to putting on outdoor celebrations. Our dedicated Events team is always ready to provide the support student groups and departments need, specialising in the provision of sound and lighting equipment.

The Events team regularly supply full support packages for groups, setting-up, operating and clearing away equipment as required.
